My Special Boy.

SONY DSC

During my Session with Marjorie and her son Greyson, several magical moments took place and I was able to capture these moments with perfect timing.   And of all of the images from that morning session, this one has to be my favorite one.  I call it My Special Boy.

I hope you enjoy this image as much I have.

Future Brother

I Love you Mommy

This is another image from last Saturdays Maternity session.   I just love this portrait.  This portrait is a very tender image that shows that close bond between a mother and her son.   Greyson is a very mature little man for his age and is very excited about his future sister.

I hope you enjoy this portrait as much as I have.

A touching Maternity

MarjorieToohey

Molly and I had a wonderful Maternity session with Marjorie Toohey and her son Greyson.   The session was kept short as always with all beautiful women who are in their final trimester of their pregnancy.

Quite a few of the images from the session are stunning and two have brought tears of joy to my eyes when I started to view the results of our session.

I just wanted to share with all of you one of many images from Marjorie’s session.

I hope you enjoy this beautiful portrait as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Pastel Dreams is online

dreams_blog

First and most important, I am not going to shoot Boudoir portraits as most other photographers around the country are shooting. Almost every day, more and more photographers are pickup up Boudoir Portraits but only to copy the next photographer. They follow the same approach that is use for lingerie advertisement or use the same concept used in many gentlemen magazines as a template for these portraits. Many of the portraits are neither flattering and in many cases come short of becoming pornographic.

What I am perusing is a style that was popular in the 19 century and is and is once again greatly in demand in Europe. These Portraits are called Victorian or Romance Portraits, other artist call it Bohemian Portraits. Last March, I had the opportunity to meet a very fine British Portrait Painter who has adapted this old style of portraiture in his painting and I simply fell in love with his work and his ideas of what real women truly want in this romantic style of art.

You will not find Vitoria Secret panties being stretch by a stiletto heal or a totally nude house wife only covered by a Chiffon scarf. We will shoot portraits that are romantic and tasteful but beautiful enough to hang on the wall of your home.

We call these portraits Pastel Dreams, and we offer three levels of portraits.

An Expecting Mother. Revised

When it comes to shootings portraits, I love to capture subjects that have a lot of love to share. Nothing says Love more than a maternity portrait.

My subject Marjorie, is a lovely mother to be, both physically, but emotionally. The love and compassion that she exudes with her yet to be born son is nothing short of amassing. I wanted to share just a few of the the images from her session and wish Marjorie and her baby Greyson (who is still to join us) all of the best.
I hope you enjoy these wonderful images just as much as I enjoyed taking them. And Marjorie, thank you and your equally loving husband Ryan for allowing me to capture this special moment.
